Invisible Stories (in Progression)

November 9
7:30PM
Mole Hill Theater
Alstead, NH

Invisible Stories is a dance in progression, a kind of movable feast of ideas and movements and books, conceived and performed by Kate Tarlow Morgan and Sarah Slifer Swift.  For this performance we are joined by visual artist Susan Erony and musician Stefan Brandstatter.

We are working with books and the loss of books, the life and movement of language.  Charles Olson's in there too.  And the oceans that pour up out of the mines and lap at the edges of Avalonia.

Dance For World Community This Saturday, 6/8!

Jose Mateo Ballet Theater's annual Dance for World Community Fest is a beautiful event.  I've enjoyed going to as a spectator for several years now, and this year I have a quartet of dancers performing a new quartet, "Find me in the Dance Floor."  To music by electronic music artist Mark Fell ( http://www.markfell.com ), the piece goes deeply into the roots of why we enjoy losing ourselves to dance.  We perform at 5:20, but be sure to check out as much of the festival as you can. more info at  http://www.danceforworldcommunity.org/
